Chris Crawford

The founder and CEO of ClearPath, Chris Crawford offers 30 years of diversified business experience, including strong Financial, Legal, Operational and M&A skills. Mr. Crawford served as the Chief Financial Officer of two companies over a 9 year period: The North Face and Vermont Castings. He has significant buy-side and sell-side M&A experience, including ten years at PacifiCorp and PacifiCorp Financial Services, multi-billion dollar companies based in Portland, Oregon. With his expertise as both an attorney and CPA (Oregon inactive), Chris has reviewed and analyzed hundreds of businesses and been involved in over 300 buy/sell transactions ranging in size from $80,000 to over $100 million. He has the unique ability to advise clients with his perspective from buying and selling companies for his own businesses, and being a shareholder going through M&A transactions. Throughout his career, Mr. Crawford has a proven track record of success with a focus on maximizing shareholder value and improvement of business processes and infrastructure. Areas of experience include business turnarounds, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, cash flow management and analysis, financial forecasting and modeling, product line profitability, infrastructure restructuring, bank financing and due diligence. Mr. Crawford has worked closely with professional commercial and investment bankers and understands the communication, analysis and reporting issues critical to those relationships.

Mr. Crawford holds a J.D. from Lewis & Clark School of Law and a B.S. from Cal State University, Northridge. He is a member of the Oregon Bar and Oregon Society of CPAs (both licenses are inactive).

Patrick Bormann

Patrick Bormann is a diversified senior executive with 30+ years of strong financial, operational and sales management expertise. Throughout his career Mr. Bormann has held roles including Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Sales and Distribution. His experience includes driving significant growth of companies (zero to $220 million), raising seed capital and managing through acquisitions with post-integration of multiple teams and business units. During a 20-year tenure at Triad Systems in Livermore, Patrick was responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and P&L of several business units in North America, totaling $140+ million in revenue. At Berkeley Process Controls, Patrick developed key partnerships with semiconductor capital equipment manufacturers and expanded the sales and marketing force into Europe. In addition to his wide knowledge and experience base, Patrick brings a strategic perspective to business issues that incorporates a sense of reasoned, sound judgment from a "this is how it really works" view.

Bob Robichaud

Bob Robichaud brings over 30 years of senior financial management, planning, accounting and administrative experience to ClearPath Business Advisors.  Throughout his career, he has worked with technology based companies and enjoys solving financial challenges by working closely with management representing the operational disciplines within the business.  Mr. Robichaud served as Director of Finance Operations at Activant Solutions, a $400M provider of software and information products. Mr. Robichaud served as CFO at Astro Business Technologies, a document solutions provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation. As CFO at Wingspring, a venture capital and incubator firm located in Palo Alto and Pleasanton California, he coordinated the finance functions of Wingspring and several of its partner companies.  As CFO at U.S. Wireless Data, Inc., a publicly traded company specializing in the application of wireless technology to credit card processing, Mr. Robichaud assisted in closing a number of financings, including a $50 million private equity placement.  During his 12 years at Triad Systems in Livermore, Mr. Robichaud held a variety of financial management position including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Mr. Robichaud has coordinated both buy-side and sell-side due diligence and post acquisition integration planning.

Mr. Robichaud holds a MBA from Rutgers University Graduate School of Business and received his B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University.

Monica Marino

Monica Marino serves as the ClearPath office manager and general account facilitator.  With 15+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting systems, Monica assists clients with their accounting needs.  Her experience includes long-term, full time positions with Bank of America, Hewlett-Packard Company, and Independent Consulting Services.
